J. Cole Helps His Old Pal 360 Leave The Streets Behind
'He reached out while I was doing my thing and was like, 'Yo let me help you,' ' 360 tells Mixtape Daily of his Cole collabo.

There was a time when 360 was running around in circles, simultaneously chasing his rap dreams while being pulled by the streets' centrifugal force. Those days are over, however, and now the full-time MC is on a linear path.
"Everything that I've done it's all just come back to music at the end of the day," the Queens, New York, newcomer told Mixtape Daily. "So this time I was like, 'I'm staying. I'm not doing nothing else but music now.' "
6-0's debut EP, Everywhere and Back, which was released as a free download on his website at the top of April, is a collection of 10 original tracks. The promising rap rookie displays a consistently fluid flow, clever wordplay and a refreshing sense of humor.
Throughout, 360 holds his own collaborating with little-known producers, but he does get one major assist on the boards from Roc Nation's J. Cole. When 60 released YouTube footage of him and Cole in the studio back in February, many wondered how the newcomer hooked up with the platinum producer. It's a Queens thing, 360 explained.
"Cole, I knew him from way back. I knew him from when he was in St. Johns," he said, recalling Jermaine's college days in New York. "Basically, when it was my time to come up, he reached out while I was doing my thing and was like, 'Yo let me help you.' "
It was a crucial assist. The result is "What Goes Up," one of Everywhere and Back's standout tracks. Another is "Woulda Kid," a track that pokes fun at those who exaggerate their street bravado to impress others. "It's basically somebody that talks and never comes through, ever," 360 explained while laughing.
Now that he is no longer chasing his tail in the streets, 360 is focused on a productive career in rap. It's an age-old story, but one that never gets stale. "I really sat down and planned this. This wasn't like I was just putting songs together," he said. "The ultimate goal at the end of the day is to make a real change."

Miley Cyrus Rushed To Hospital After Blender Mishap

Miley Cyrus suffered a minor mishap in attempting to channel her inner Rachael Ray on Tuesday (April 17) when she cut her finger while cooking and had to be rushed to the hospital for stitches. Gossip website Starfeine broke the news and obtained the photographic evidence via a snapshot of Cyrus headed to the hospital, holding the injured finger wrapped in gauze.
"She cut her finger while cooking," Cyrus' rep told Us Weekly. "[She] had to get a few stitches. She's doing fine."
Cyrus later tweeted an update about the incident via a back-and-forth Twitter conversation with fan site MileyCyrus.bz and let everyone know she was doing fine, aside from being peeved that paparazzi followed her to the hospital.
"@MileyCyrusBz as you can tell by the horrible faces I'm making I obviously didn't know they were there," Cyrus tweeted in response to the paparazzi shots. "Pretty messed up following me to ER. I'm all stitched up & have on a splint so I'm good," she added via a follow-up tweet. "As you can tell by my expression, didn't feel so good. Curse u blender!"
We're not exactly sure what Cyrus was doing sticking her hands into a blender, but we're happy she's all stitched up and on the mend.
Starfeine claimed the 19-year-old singer/actress was accompanied by a substantial support team on her trip to the emergency room. Her mother, grandmother and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth were reportedly all by her side during the ER visit.

Space Shuttle Discovery to swoop over National Mall (+video)
Perched atop a modified jumbo jet, the retired Space Shuttle Discovery will fly over Washington before arriving at its permanent resting place at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
Space?shuttle?Discovery has one last mission to complete.

Its destination: the Smithsonian Institution's hangar outside Washington, D.C.
The plane and jet will make a farewell flight over Cape Canaveral before heading north. The pair also will swoop over the nation's capital, including the National Mall, before landing in Virginia.
Space?center workers arrived by the busloads Monday at the old?shuttle?landing strip, where the jet was parked with Discovery bolted on top. Security officers, firefighters, former?shuttle?workers and even astronauts all posed for pictures in front of Discovery.
The six astronauts who flew Discovery's final?space?trip a year ago were on hand to bid Discovery goodbye.
Discovery first launched in 1984 and flew 39 times in?space, more than any other?shuttle. It is the oldest of NASA's three surviving?space?shuttles?and the first to head to a museum.
It will go on display at the Smithsonian's hangar at Dulles International Airport in Virginia, replacing Enterprise, the?shuttle?prototype that never made it to?space?but was used in landing tests in the late 1970s. Enterprise is bound for New York City's Intrepid Sea, Air &?Space?Museum.
"It's good to see her one more time, and it's great that Discovery is going to a good home. Hopefully, millions of people for many, many years to come will go see Discovery," said Steven Lindsey, the last astronaut to command Discovery. "It's also sad ... it's sad to see that the program is over."
NASA ended the?shuttle?program last summer after 30 years to focus on destinations beyond low-Earth orbit. Lindsey, no longer with NASA, now works in the commercial?space?industry, helping to develop a successor for launching American astronauts to the International?Space?Station.
Stephanie Stilson, a NASA manager who is heading up the transition and retirement of the three remainingshuttles, said Discovery looked as though it had just arrived from a ferry trip from the backup landing site in California, as it did so many times in years past.
